2001 International Rules Series

The 2001 International Rules series was the 8th annual International Rules Series and the xth time that a test series of International rules football was played between Ireland and Australia and was won by Ireland.[1][2]

The AFL appointed Garry Lyon as coach for Australia, for his first time as coach of the national team and also his only coaching appointment.
